10. Focus

We don't offer dialup, co-location, web hosting or home DSL. We only offer dedicated, business-class Internet connections. This allows us to focus on providing the best Internet connection possible for a reasonable price.

9. Financial Stability

We will be profitable by the end of Q3 2003 (September 30, 2003). Not EBITDA, cash flow, pro forma or any other made up number, but true net-income profitable. This means that we're not going to file for bankruptcy or go out of business any time soon.

8. Technical Support

Have you ever called into tech support for your current ISP and the tech knew less than you? At Angvall Networks, that won't happen. Our techs are well versed in all of the acronyms (BGP, PPP, HDLC, HTTP, SMTP, POP3, DNS, FTP, ICMP, etc). Our techs know what they are doing and will help you resolve any issues you may have.

7. Security

We filter certain well-known Internet attacks (land.c, code red, RFC 1918 addresses, directed broadcasts, IP Source Routing, etc). This adds a level of security to your network. (Note: we do NOT filter any Internet content, merely things that should not be on the Internet in the first place).

6. Performance

The problem with most large Internet providers is that their SLA only covers THEIR network. Once your traffic leaves their network, all guarantees are null and void. We purchase bandwidth from multiple Tier 1 Internet providers. This allows us to give you a quicker path to your destination, as well as allowing us to avoid congestion.

5. Diversity

In the current economic environment, keeping all of your eggs in one basket is a bad idea. By purchasing bandwidth, circuits and co-location space from multiple providers, we can survive a financial meltdown by one of our suppliers with little impact on our network.

4. Reliability

We have multiple layers of redundancy throughout our network. From multiple upstream providers, to redundant gateway routers, to redundant power, to redundant fiber connections between CO's. Our network is built for 100% uptime.

3. Network Monitoring

All T1 connections are monitored 24x7 and as soon as we detect an outage, we start the troubleshooting process. Most of the time, we will contact you before you even know it is down.

2. Affordability

We offer cost-effective, unlimited-use Internet connections for businesses. Because of this, we don't have the high overhead associated with residential ISPs (our techs don't have to spend hours explaining to a user how to plug their modem in). Also, we don't believe in spending a lot of money on marketing and things like that (our website....). This allows us to offer a more affordable solution.
